    The site was used as a poorhouse between 1864-1925. The poorhouse was later demolished, and it was used as 'Logie School' between 1929 and 1975.     Its a great shame that this school is closing i attended from 1965 until 1972 and would love to hear of any one from my year it was a fairly strict school but the teachers were all respected and was go back there tomorrow if i could my daughter is 15 and coming into 4th grade and oh how times have changed and not for the better Mr Russell would turn in his grave!!!!
