Hello, After completing my general nursing training at Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, travelled to the UK and worked for 2 years during which time I did my midwifery nursing training at DRI in 1973 - 74. I was in the second last group to be trained there in the school of nursing before it moved to Ninewells just before I finished in September 1974. My home away from home during that time was an attic bedsit on the third floor of Dalgleish Nurses Home. Nostalgic times even though maty nursing was not my preferred discipline. Anyone else out there who trained in the September Group? I remember, Jessie and Iris and Sheila and Wendy but lost touch with everyone after graduation and my return home to Australia.
